Chalong bay is located in the east coast of Phuket with approximately 2 minutes driving from downtown by turning left at Chalong junction (Ha Yaek Chalong) to the east of the island. At the bay, there is a pier for the connecting boats to other islands near by also, boats for rental. Here, tourists can rent a boat and snorkeling or diving accessories at the diving shops on both sides of the road starts from Chalong junction to Chalong bay. Phuket east coast is the clay beach which is unsuitable for swimming however, it give a breath-taking impression when the water rise up to the fullest.
