This beach located in the west coast of Phuket Island, connected with Kamala beach. With its steep incline characteristic and turbulent waves in the monsoon season; Surin beach is unsuitable for swimming. However, about 1 kilometer to the south of the beach there is a small cape with beautiful scenery named Singha Cape (Laem Singha) which is a white sand beach with rocky knolls surrounded by palm tress make you feel as if it’s your own secret beach. If you drive further from Singha cape, there will be a down hill road that brings you to Kamala beach. Along the road you can see the stunning shoreline of Kamala beach, here is a peaceful beach that suitable for swimming. |
